Justin Scarelli, Writer/Director
Justin Scarelli is a self-taught writer, director and producer. He recently completed a short feature entitled “Some Holiday” which has screened at both non-profit and for-profit theaters and universities. Justin also was a screenwriting instructor for a youth day camp in Portsmouth, NH.
In conjunction with writing and directing his own films, Justin volunteered and helped to create a documentary on media literacy in cooperation with a teen center in Hillsboro, NH. The documentary was received at a national CYFAR (Children, Youth and Families at Risk) conference in May of 2005. From that experience, Justin also drafted, budgeted and created a youth-run drama program out of the teen center entitled CAST (Community Arts as a Stage for Teens). CAST was born from the need to give local youth a creative space that was structured and also informative.
He continues to write and is working on several projects, both for the page and screen.
